I am a communications professional who has been spending the last few years telling the good story of a local nonprofit my hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. I enjoy using my talents to help others and good stories is what keeps me going. Sharing the story of a life changed for the better and seeing others gain understanding from that story is one of the greatest feelings in the world.
In truth, I’ve always loved a good story. A voracious reader from the start, I started writing my own stories in elementary school. There’s just nothing like experiencing a good tale, and sometimes you need to share your own story.
I also love learning, so lately I’ve been branching out from my work at a nonprofit to do some writing on other various topics for myself and others. I’m always looking for a new project and a new topic to discover.
Parenting has become the most important topic in my life lately, as I have a wonderful husband and young son. Our two shih tzus round out the family.
